Vegan chocolate pudding

The recipe is not mine, but I translated it from French to English for an american friend who loves it ! Feel free to correct my English it the comments, I would like to improve it !

50 cl almond milk

2 tb s brown sugar

2 tb s cornflour

100 gr cooking chocolate

1/4 t s agar-agar (optional)

Mix the cornflour with 25 cl almond milk (don’t use warm milk otherwise it makes lumps). Leave aside.

In a saucepan, cut the chocolate block into chunks and add the rest of almond milk. Heat gently until the chocolate is entirely melted. Add the sugar, mix and add the milk+cornflour (the mixture you left aside). Mix again . Continue to heat gently until the mixture becomes thicker. I then add a bit of agar agar, mix carefully and continue to heat 1-2 min. But you can skip this last step and you’ll obtain a more liquid pudding.

After this, simply pour the preparation into ramekins or “verrines” and leave aside until it reaches the temperature of the room. Then put them into the fridge.

    A bientôt !
